2026 Season
Northwest Fastball is girls’ fastball for every skill level — whether she’s played for years or is picking up a glove for the first time.

Northwest Fastball is girls’ fastball in northwest Winnipeg, Headingley, and Cartier — a community program where the focus is on development and having fun on the diamond. We run seven age groups from T-Ball through U19, with the season running May through June.
All skill levels are welcome — from first-time players to experienced athletes. Every player bats in every game, because we believe in participation and development over the win column. And as players grow, there are competitive programs (AA and AAA) to step into when they’re ready.
Players are grouped by age from T-Ball through U19. Every age group plays the same season — practices and games run May through June and the year wraps up at provincials in June and early July.

Club ball is where everyone starts. As players grow, there’s more to step into.

Community-level play. All ages, all skill levels. This is where every player starts.

Development program to bridge the skill gap between the A and AAA categories. Players must register and play A level softball to be eligible to play at the AA level. Tryouts in spring.

Year-round competitive program. Tryouts in September. Regional team covering northwest Manitoba.

Our program depends on parent volunteers — coaches, team managers, and umpires. No experience required.
